THIS 🙌🏼 This is why I’m so invested in family photography.
The undeniable way this Mum is looking at her little boy with such love, patience, wonder, awe...the list could go on. And look at Dad, he’s beaming just watching them.
This is the kind of photo I would want for myself. I’m my own worst critic and when it comes to my parenting it’s no different. I need a photo like this so I can see I’m not always the cranky, tired, and impatient mother that I constantly label myself.
These fleeting and minuscule moments that sometimes I’m so lucky to capture are what keep me coming back for more. There’s a lot to be said about the way we can just look at someone. The way a husband looks at his wife holding their newborn baby, or how a child looks at their mum who just wants to be scooped up and wrapped in her arms. THESE are the moments people.
